I didn’t start traveling to build a brand. I started traveling because something in me needed to breathe. Needed to prove to myself that the world was bigger than the boxes I’d been handed, and that I could move through it gracefully, joyfully, and on my own schedule.

I’m Just Trippin was born on a boring day as I switched out my toothbrush, I found myself scribbling into the Notes app of my phone between my usual “I’ve got to get out of here” thoughts and the realization that I had never once seen a travel space that felt like it was actually for me. Not for the hustle traveler. Not for the budget backpacker. Not for the perfectly-filtered, never-a-real-moment highlight reel. For me! A Black woman who loves a good itinerary and a better nap, who wants to eat the food the locals eat and still bring her satin pillowcase.

This space is for the woman who books the trip before she’s \”ready.\” Who travels solo not because she has to, but because she wants to, and who knows that moving through the world as yourself is one of the most radical, most luxurious things you can do. We’re not traveling for the algorithm. We’re traveling for the feeling. The growth. The stories we’ll tell for the rest of our lives.
